Michael Crichton Dies at 66

Michael Crichton, who wrote such bestselling books as The Andromeda Strain, Jurassic Park and Disclosure died yesterday at the age of 66. According to a press release, Crichton lost a private battle with cancer.
In addition to Crichton's literary success, he also created the hit TV show, ER, published two video games and wrote several movies.

That’s surprising and too bad. I know that many people will miss the entertainment that he provided with his books and screenplays.

I am so sorry to hear that such a brilliant writer has passed on, especially from cancer. My commiserations to his family and friends. He will be sorely missed, my son and I have read all his books.
