Sophie Kinsella is a pseudonym used by Madeleine Wickham to write chick lit. Although Wickham has published other books under her real name, her Kinsella books are much more popular. Here are all the books published by this author, with a note as to whether they were written as Wickham or Kinsella.

1995 - "The Tennis Party" by Madeleine Wickham

Wickham's debut novel is about a couple who invites three other couples to a weekend at their new mansion to play tennis. The husband, Patrick, has a hidden agenda in the invitation, and by the end of the weekend there will be fights, scandal and more.

1996 - "A Desirable Residence" by Wickham

Everyone is entangled with everyone else in "A Desirable Residence," the story of a couple who is struggling to pay two mortgages when a handsome new friend comes to their aid. They, their teenage daughter and their tenants all become embroiled in personal affairs and business.

1997 - "Swimming Pool Sunday" by Wickham

When a child hits her head on a diving board at a party, her separated parents have to decide whether to sue for negligence. The idea to sue was proposed by the mother's attorney, who has his own motives for wanting in on the case.

1998 - "The Gatecrasher" by Wickham

Fleur Daxeny crashes funerals and swindles rich widowers to keep up with her expensive lifestyle. In ​"The Gatecrasher," Fleur actually falls for one of the men but might lose everything because of a secret from her past.

1999 - "The Wedding Girl" by Wickham

2000 - "Cocktails for Three" by Wickham

"Confessions of a Shopaholic" ​is the book that made Sophie Kinsella a worldwide favorite author. In this book, she introduces Becky Bloomwood, a quirky and lovable character who has an addiction to shopping and an aversion to paying bills. Becky's adventures in life and love have also been adapted into a movie.

2001 - "Sleeping Arrangements" by Wickham

When a mutual friend promises two families that they can use his Spanish villa the same week, a situation ensues. Both families are surprised to find the other at the villa, and Chloe must spend the week with the man who broke her heart 15 years ago.

2004 - "Shopaholic and Sister" by Kinsella

When Becky returns from her honeymoon, she finds out that she has a long-lost sister. She can't wait to meet her, but when she does, she finds out her sister hates shopping! Can these two very different women bond?

2005 - "The Undomestic Goddess" by Kinsella

Twenty-nine-year-old Samantha Sweeting is a lawyer in London who makes a huge mistake that costs her a chance to be ​a partner in her firm. In the stress, she ends up applying to be a housekeeper even though she doesn't know how to cook and clean. She gets the job, then must work to pull her life together.

2007 - "Shopaholic & Baby" by Kinsella

"​Shopaholic & Baby" is the fifth installment in Sophie Kinsella's popular Shopaholic series. Fans of the series will be delighted by Becky Brandon's adventures in pregnancy, but if you didn't like the first books, you'll probably be frustrated by this one as well.

2008 - "Remember Me" by Kinsella

"Remember Me" is about Lexi Smart, a woman who wakes up in a hospital convinced it is 2004. Really, it is three years later. She can't remember those three years, but somehow she is a successful businesswoman with a handsome millionaire husband. Lexi tries to figure out how her life got this way and who she really is.

2009 - "Twenties Girl" by Kinsella

"Twenties Girl" by Sophie Kinsella is about Lara, a busy twenty-something-year-old who gets visited by the ghost of her great-aunt Sadie (from the 1920s). She gets enlisted to find Sadie's missing necklace and must deal with the ghost and everyday life.

2010 - "Mini Shopaholic" by Kinsella

Sophie Kinsella announced that she planned to end her wildly popular Shopaholic series. Then, perhaps, she remembered how lucrative it is to write books that are sure to become bestsellers. In "Mini Shopaholic" Becky must deal with a stubborn two-year-old with expensive tastes and tries to cheer up her husband by throwing him a surprise birthday party.

2012 - "I've Got Your Number" by Kinsella

"I've Got Your Number" is the story of Poppy Wyatt, a woman who loses her engagement ring and phone in the same afternoon. She finds someone else's phone abandoned in a trash can and decides to use it to report her stolen ring, but the phone does much more. It connects her to the owner and turns her life upside down.

2014 - "Shopaholic to the Stars" by Kinsella

In the seventh Shopaholic book. Becky and family are moving to Los Angeles, and she decides to find work as a stylist for celebrities.

2015 - "Finding Audrey" by Kinsella

This is the first young adult novel by Kinsella. The focus is on Audrey, a teenager with Social Anxiety Disorder who has become reclusive. While she is making progress, she connects with her brother's friend Linus.

2015 - "Shopaholic to the Rescue" by Kinsella

Becky takes to the road in search of her father, who has disappeared from Los Angeles, along with the husband of Becky's best friend. What are they up to? How can Becky save the day?

2017 - "My Not So Perfect Life" by Kinsella

Kinsella keeps up with the times in this social media-conscious novel that has a love-hate relationship between Katie and her glamorous female boss, Demeter.
