1. 'Mockingjay' by Suzanne Collins
For this list, Mockingjay is encompassing the popularity of the whole Hunger Games series. The first two books -- The Hunger Games and Catching Fire were also very popular in 2010. Mockingjay, the final book in the trilogy, was highly anticipated and didn't let readers down.

Stockett writes about the struggles the women face as they chafe against the written and unwritten rules that limit their lives. The novel was released in 2009, but became even more popular in 2010 and will surely gain even more interest when the movie version is released in 2011.
