'One for the Money'

St. Martin's PressJanet Evanovich's series about Bounty Hunter Stephanie Plum tops the bestsellers lists every year. Each book has a number in the title. Evanovich knows how to do beach reading, and now her fans will get to see their favorite heroine in a summer movie. One for the Money, starring Katherine Heigl as Stephanie Plum, was released in January.
'The Lorax'

Random House Children's BooksDr. Seuss' 1971 environmentalist tale about "The Lorax who speaks for the trees" is coming to theaters in March. Voices in this animated feature include Danny Devito, Ed Helms, Zac Efron, Betty White and Rob Riggle.
'The Hunger Games'

ScholasticIt seems as if every new cast member that was announced for The Hunger Games movie got a new story in entertainment magazines. Perhaps that's because the books are fantastic, and the world couldn't wait to see it on the big screen. The first movie was released in March 2012.
'The Lucky One'

Grand Central PublishingNicholas Sparks is back with another heart-wrenching romance like his fans have come to love.
The Lucky One is an adaptation of Sparks' 2008 novel by the same name. It is the story of a man who finds a picture of a woman and then tries to find the woman because he thinks the picture is bringing him luck.
The Lucky One hit theaters April 20.
'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter'

Grand CentralAbraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith turns the life of one of America's most respected presidents into a Gothic nightmare. Funny? Gross? Probably depends on your sense of humor. There is enough of a following for this book, though, to turn it into a movie. The film version of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter was released June 22, 2012.
'Cosmopolis'

Cosmopolis is a long way from
Twilight. It is the story of a Wall Street king taking a 24 hour ride across town and the ways his life unravels during that time.

Along Came a Spider. Morgan Freeman played the detective in those movies, but Tyler Perry is taking on the role in
Alex Cross, which hit theaters in October.
'Cloud Atlas'

Random HouseCloud Atlas by David Mitchell begins in 1850 and moves across time to the future, abruptly stopping the stories in each time period and moving to the next and then back again until it becomes clear how the characters and stories are related. The movie adaptation of the book stars Tom Hanks and Halle Berry. It will be released on October 26.
'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2'

'Life of Pi'

Life of Pi, is finally coming to the big screen. Over the years, there were rumors that a number of different directors -- Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Alfonso Cuarón and M. Night Shyamalan -- but the film is finally being made by Ang Lee. The movie will be 3D and will be released in December.
'The Hobbit'
