I'll Walk Alone is Mary Higgins Clark's thirteenth suspense novel. This time the subject is identity theft. This thriller involves kidnapping and a scheme to ruin one woman's life. It is a fast paced psychological thriller with a big ending.

44 Charles Street is the name of Danielle Steel's latest novel, but also the address of the inhabitants in the book. When an art gallery owner suddenly separates from her boyfriend, she realizes the only way to survive financially is to open her Greenwich Village home to boarders. 44 Charles Street follows a year in the lives of four people living together in this house.

Swim Back to Me by Ann Packer is a collection of short stories framed by two related novellas. Packer, again, captures women's voices and focuses on family life and friendships.

David Foster Wallace, a literary novelist best known for Infinite Jest, killed himself in 2008. He left behind an unfinished work, which is being published as The Pale King. The Pale King is the story of an IRS agent named David Foster Wallace who works in a joyless job at a regional office in Illinois.

Meg Cabot is known for light novels, but her latest young adult novel, Abandon, sounds a far cry from the Princess Diaries books that made her famous. In Abandon, the protagonist has returned from the dead, but a dark angel follows her and won't let her go. She is tempted by him, but terrified of returning to the Underworld.
