Between Lions and Lambs by N.T. McQueen

"Between Lions and Lambs" is the perfect book for a Christian book club. The novel has so many levels and discusses hypocrisy in religion and who believers put their faith into. The novel is well-written, in an interesting structure, and is rife with difficult topics that are the cornerstone for almost all who align themselves with a divine presence of some sort. A great, provocative examination on faith and religion.

An Instrument for God's Purpose

fantastic workbook/diary style with a unique theme, packed with years of techniques to enhance ones walk with God, great tool to reach the lost and inspire mature Christians to recommit to becoming a part of the great commission.

Chased Across Australia

Chased Across Australia, by Conger is a thriller with action and danger. It is written from a Christian perspective with Christian characters who share their faith with the villains. The reader is exposed to the gospel message. This would be an ideal book to give to an unsaved friend. Your book club can discuss the role of books such as this that demonstrate Christian characters, minimize profanity, have no sex outside of marriage and give a Christian witness.

Traveling Through by Barbara G. Tucker

Novel about a naive but dedicated young couple who encounter tragic circumstances and decide to face them the hard way. Themes of reconciliation and healing set against the political background of the '70s and '80s. Carlie Geraldson is a young pastor's wife with a secret she can't hide forever. When she decides to be honest about who she is and what happened to her, she finds herself becoming more and more involved in a social cause that troubles her husband, who carries guilt of his own, and takes her in a direction she didn't foresee.

Letters From A Martyred Christian

What would you do if someone was drowning your daughter and screaming at you - "Renounce Christ and save your family!" That is what Aulus Aurelius faced in AD 67 when Roman soldiers overtook his farm and threatened death if he didn't renounce his faith. He died that day and since that time has observed Earth from Heaven. Today he writes these letters to modern Christians on topics like prayer, outreach, and the Kingdom of God. This book is page-turning fiction that readers are having a hard time putting down. (Read the Amazon reviews.) But, it was designed with small groups and book clubs in mind with each chapter easy to digest in a single sitting and discussion questions.
