Dreaming in Red
- Just came across it on amazon kindle. Loved the cover so I gave it a try. Total page turner. I literally didn't put it down unitl I was done. The author has a way of sweeping you into the book making you feel like you are actually there, seeing, feeling, hearing and tasting along with the characters. Really fun read.

All Cry Chaos by Leonard Rosen
- This is a mystery wrapped in a thriller, woven into a startling social commentary. What I appreciated most about this book was Rosen's ability to pose ethical questions and discuss models of behavior while leaving most of the resolutions for the readers to answer. Not to forget that this is also a whopping good mystery!

The Eight
- An oldy but goody...! I'm enjoying it even more after 15 years or so... Engaging, exciting...you just want to keep on reading and at the end, you want to start it all over again.

Shirley
- The Glass Room or Don't Blink (Patterson) "Room" is set in WWII Europe "Blink is based on historical fact post-Civil War to begin with. They are not the best I have read, but they are interesting with good character development.

On the Big White Oak
- On the big white oak by Corrine Coleman. It is one of the most poignant books I have read to date. It is for anyone looking for a dramatic love triangle. It has a few twists and turns - but most importantly, I felt like I knew the characters and I thought about them long after I finished the book!

2012: The Anti-Soul
- In the Fall I like to read spooky stories. The meloncholy seems to go with the falling leaves and browning world. Without a doubt, 2012: The Anti-Soul is the spookiest read I've enjoyed in ages. The cast of vivid characters together is the essence of good plotting and the writing is superb.

2012: The Anti-Soul
- I live in a climate where nature strips life bare and draws a white shroud over it for three months out of every year. How could I not recommend spooky reads for the fall? Lyle Burwell's 2012: The Anti-Soul is a perfect Fall read. This book scared me in a way nothing has since The Excorcist. I totally agree with critic Jeanne Frye: "A fast, terrifying read."
