From a Buick 8
- I loved this book. It is written very old school King. The book had a lot of humor. I am trying to read all of Stephen King's books, I enjoy the way he spins a tale.

The Eyes of the Dragon
- I love this book!! I am a huge fan of the Stephen King. The very first book I ever read by King was The Eyes of the Dragon. I could not put it down and have not been able to stop reading since.

The Stand, any version!
- It was the first "grown up" novel that I ever read, back when it first came out in paperback and now it is the first "grown up" novel that my son is reading. I will NEVER forget my first trip through the Lincoln Tunnel. In broad daylight, I was TERRIFIED! I read my first copy to pieces and got about 10 or 12 people in my highschool into SK based on THAT BOOK alone. Far reaching, and even scarier now...

Can't go wrong with The Green Mile
- Personally, I love most of King's books, but two of King's longest books, IT and The Stand (the longer version), are my favorites. However, can't go wrong with The Green Mile. It puts King up on a pedestal of writing as it was probably the first book I ever read of his that wasn't horror genre.

The Stand
- He's just going to have to go some to beat The Stand - the ultimate war between good and evil.

Duma Key

The Stand
- I found The Stand to be truly outSTANDing! I've read it a few times and the complete edition too. But in all fairness to Mr King, I haven't read much from him since Tommyknockers. I found the plots getting too "out there". I did read the Green Mile though and like it. Still and all, The Stand has stayed with me since it was first published and is my all time King favorite.

The Dark Tower Series (All)
- Starting with the Gunslinger through The Dark Tower VII this is by far the best of King. One book is surpassed by the next. Anyone never having read a book by him could pick this first up and fall in love with the writing style. Of course, it's not for a closed minded reader. King's works open up the imagination and allows us to escape to a place where there is no sure footed stepping. It's nice to feel like the ground's going to fall out from under at any time. Love it!
