The Green Mile
- For me “favorite” is a pretty loose term when it comes to King's work, since I love all that I've ever read. The Shining still has me sleeping with a light on in the hallway sometimes, and Everything's Eventual had me looking over my shoulder more often then I care to admit. My first love was The Green Mile. I bought it when I was in college, but I was so busy I didn't start reading it until about a year later. I was sooo hooked and I remember thinking I can't believe this amazing story has been in a book right here in my house and I had no clue! All of a sudden reading became something I did because I loved to do it, and that means a lot to a full time mom who's a full time student with a full time job. King opened up a whole new world I never would have imagined existed, and I have been a Constant Reader ever since!

THE STAND AND IT
- I READ THE STAND WHEN I WAS 25 AND FOR THE PAST 18 YEARS I HAVE REPEATED THAT RITUAL EVERY FALL, IT COMES IN A CLOSE 2ND AND GETS REREAD EVERY SPRING. I HAVE BEEN A FAN FOR A LONG TIME AND ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO NEW BOOKS, BUT ITS HARD TO BEAT THOSE FIRST 2 LOVES.

THE DOME

IT- I mean really!?
- IT has got to be the scariest novel ever, where Pennywise is the embodiment of our own individual fears. He is every nightmare to everyone, and preying on children is sick to boot. I was 23 when I read it and had to sleep with a light on and the closet door open.

Under the dome
- I was sad when it ended, I wanted to keep reading.

IT
- By far my all-time favorite book. Taught me reading can be interesting and fun. I read it every single july, and it doesn't get old. Desperation is a very close second.

Salems Lot
- Could barely stand to read it while alone. I had chill bumps on me big enough for a pig to suck.

The Stand/Tommy Knocker
- The Stand hands down, but the Tommyknockers a close second. With both books I can open them up on any page and just start reading. Have read them both countless times. The great thing about his books is you can read them over and over and it's like reading them for the first time. I am a super fan.

The Dark Tower Series
- I have loved every single book I have ever read by Stephen King. The Dark Tower Series wins, hands down, with me. I hated to see it end.

Dark Tower
- The series was the best reading ever! I enjoy reading all his creations!

Insomnia
- It was the first King novel I read and I was hooked from page one. I have read and own a lot of his books, but I have always viewed this as his best. (Also the Dark Tower books are good and if you read and like insomnia then read the Dark Tower books.)

The Long Walk
- From a literary stand point that is probably his best. From a reader's perspective, it is hard. Pet Semetery and all his two worlds books are hard to beat.
